New Songs

Hi Theorists!
With the new lineup now set, it was only a matter of time before we created new songs for your listening enjoyment. Things really are in fast motion, the band chemistry is all there, and we can't wait to hear Alex and Dominique on the new records we make! As many of you know, there are quite a bit of songs that we play that are not on The Dream Current. Songs like "Perseverance", "Galaxy" and "Burned Path" were familiar tunes at our shows, but only existed in the minds and memories of the band members.
After the break, Sharon and Alex created several more new songs, and added to the list. Heck, even the other day at rehearsal, when Dominique went out of town for a bit, Sharon Alex and I made another, untitled song! We actually have about another album's worth of new songs that you have yet to hear.
Next week is going to be cool because the band is returning to Vskills Studio to work with the producer of The Dream Current, John Hartman. The two songs we are recording, "Creature of Light" and "Distant Shores" are the first Evertheory songs that we created specifically with Dominique's melodies and her lyrics as well (awesome if you are familiar with our song-creation process)! So they are the signs of the new direction we are taking with the band: Powerful Vocals, Intense Guitars, strong melody and driving rhythms, and thoughtful, connected lyrics.
Another difference with our new approach is that we will be recording the songs separately and making them available at our shows as either downloads and/or collectible, limited-run Evertheory CDs. So be sure to come to our live performances because in some cases, you will only be able to find the new releases at those shows in collectible form! Otherwise, you will be able to download the songs from our site! We hope to see you there!
